clad detereation or movement of the coin?

Yes I think what you see on the reverses is the plating movement.

That obv sure has strange looking hair. Wink
It might be caused by polishing removing part of the edge of the hairline and making it look doubled along the hair top but I'm not sure.

Not many DDOs show in the top of hair, here's one that does:

I don't think it's a DDO.

To me the lower obv looks like a combination of things, deterioration (the shadow doubling below) and the little line in the lower bust might be strike doubling.

Add that to the way plating can move and it looks confusing.
