I just cannot tell by the images. You'll have to find a way to diffuse the lighting and make the field areas lit in your image. With the direct hard lighting you are getting, it's not possible to see the minor separation lines and/or notching that would characterise a doubled die.

Mike, that is one of the sure ways to tell a doubled die from MD. The niotches are a visible separation in the shape of the device, when struck by a doubled working die, which in turn has been made by a working hub with doubling on it. The notches do stand out when seen in the diffused light. The separation lines are also visible, (normally) to most people, with the right lifghting, but I am not one of these folks. This is crude, abnd may not be absolutely correct, but it is my impression. I'm sure Chuck can/or will give you a much more precise answer.
