Kurt, havr you seen the new '62 listintgs on the site? I was looking thru them, and I am going to have to delay digging thru mine again, 'til I finish my new setup. I am slowly getting some ideas to form. I'll let you see it when it is done.

Dick,
Believe it or not...there are still more 1962 doubled dies to come! Those added to the site this week are mostly Chuck's coins. He took the pics, and I edited them and put them on the site. Now that his are there, I have begun to go through mine to see if I had any that he didn't, and so far, I have 5 new DDOs to put on the site. One other thing to note, the doubled die Reverses have not all been loaded yet. That may prove to be another humongous undertaking.
Anyway, I have been promising the 1962 additions/pictures to the site for a long time. Now we have a nice start on them.

I'll have to look more closely at my LMCs from now on! Thanks for letting me know. Very Happy

I've been checking my unlisted ones and found a few that matched. One that has me puzzled is this one.
http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1962&die_id=1962p1do024&die_state=lds
The date looks exactly the same. None of the markers match. The coin has an extended doubling on the LIBERTY. So I wondered if anyone else has one of these to answer my question?

IBE stands out stronger than on that dies listing. But I feel it is the same die, just maybe some information was missed on this doubling. I put it under my scope and wondered why I had it marked as a doubled die. I even had a coneca number for it. I looked it up and realized, the only way you could see the doubling was to turn the coin 180 around. Then I could spot it. So if anyone has some information on this die or has one, maybe it can be brought to the fore. It is either that die or maybe a new one. But the doubling on the date is exact, so I'm think the doubling on the IBE was missed.

Coop,
Be puzzled no more. You are absolutely correct. There is doubling under IBERTY. I found my copy of that coin, and it does show pretty well. I guess when you take over 250 photos of 30 coins, you can miss something occasionally. I will take care of the oversight and add the photos and info to the site. Mine is an MDS coin, so it will be shown there.

Way to go, Coop! I am getting close with my new setup, so, maybe I too will be yelling, "Hey, I got one too"!
