Gary has just let me know how things are going, and I pass the word to you:
Hello Dick
yes you can post anything I tell you.
I just got back and she is out still. so no good new's today.
she is still on 59% oxygen and can't breath on her own yet. they tried it and she didn't have the energy to inhale so she is 100% machine operated.
I wish she could wake up I am getting so tired. I have sleeping pills but they are addictive and I don't want to be addicted to anything so I am taking one a week and get the one good night and it helps but it isn't enough to keep my mind on much. that's why I cant sleep. I cant stop my mind from going crazy. even with the pills I have trouble getting to sleep cause my mind don't slow down.
ok enough about me. actually I am doing good or better than some would.

Thanks for keeping us updated Dick. I feel so bad for both of them. Time to ramp up the prayers another notch.

well I just got back from the Hospital again and there is still no change. They say they have done all they can and want to release her to the nursing home but the Insurance Co will not let them transfer her while sedated so she will be in ICU till Monday Morning.
I don't really understand the "we have done all we can" thing but I thing she is getting better. If not I have prepared myself for almost anything.
it wont be long and I wont need a sleeping pill lol.
I am a walking zombie.but I can tell you where all the cracks are in my ceiling lol so I will know where to start when my remodel gets to the bedroom lol

I just wanted to let you know that the wife is doing good and will be home soon. I think she had a time without oxygen though as she is hallucinating a lot. I talked to the Dr and he didn't know if she was talking from experience or hallucinating till I told him.she is funny but scary at the same time cause it isn't her that I am talking to.hopefuly it is her med's but if it isn't I will have to put her in a home for awhile cause I cant take care of her on my own. I have a broken back and can barely lift myself so she will have to be able to carry herself b4 I can bring her home.
that's the rest of the story I will let you know what's going on later.

Hello all
the wife is doing better now but will be in the hospital for at least another month.
they took her off life support about two weeks ago and now she is on assist from the machine.
the hallucinating was from the med's they used to keep her in a coma and will wear off in the next month or so.
she will spend Thanksgiving and possibly Xmas in the hospital as she still cannot breath on her own. they took the machine off yesterday and she doesn't have the energy to breath so they had to put her back on it.

she has the life back in her eyes though so she should make a full recovery but they say she can still give up any time so she is still guarded.

Gary, sounds like things are moving in the right direction, Prayers are still being said and wish both of you all the best!

I agree. The news is better, but understand we will not give up until she is safe and sound and back home again. Thanks again for the updates.
