Yes it is. Along with the deer, foxes, annoying crows, other numerous birds, and the occasional coyote.

On top of the normal critters this year there's lot's of parrots here. Sometimes there's flocks of them eating and uprooting my garden.

Several pics combined:

I guess no one want to see what I have in my back yard. Just a few cats, bermuda grass and junk. Nothing worth taking an image of. Well maybe the cats. Two new kittens and the mother. Siamese kittens. One with dark tips on ears and feet and one with cocoa colored tips. The mother is just a regular mother that I keep forgetting to get fixed... Maybe this time.

Here are a few pics I was able to get last September.

If you can't tell, I haven't found much in the way of coins in the last couple of days. Laughing

Boy, does this bring back memories! I haven't seen wild turkey, in 70 years!
ED, those are the same type as the one I caught last New Years Eve, eating in the wild bird feeder. They are of the NYASA family of love-birds.
Yhe pictures of the deer are like being back in AZ, at my brothers place, (the old homestead). He has several elk that live there. I have seen deer, elk, bear, (black), ountain lions, Bob-cats, (Lynx) coyotes skunk, raccoons, and muskrats, on the place.I was lucky that I left before the Javalinas, were "imported" from southern AZ, for sport hunting! I don't like them, and they are very viscious with dogs. Nice pictures!

Dick,

You're right, I read that they're "Peach Faced" love bird parrots.

Ed, I hadn't seen this publication. I went searching them on the internet, right after I got him, and that is where i found out they are lovebirds. Yes, they are the "peach-faced" parrot. The one I have is very friendly, but is very feisty, as well. He chirps and enjoys himself in captivity, it seems. and when I reach in his cage he is not aggressive. He doesn't lke to be handled too much, and I don't push it. We have an indian "ring-neck" green parrot, that is out of his cage all day long, and when he jumps down, he comes directly to me, no matter where I am, or if the dog is there, or not. They have no problems witheach other. He likes to talk on the phone, and lies a cup to talk to. In fact he likes to talk, and sing to about anything that is shiny, or attracts his attention, clothes, waste bottles, cups. He is 27 years old. I let him sit on my shoulder when I take the dog for a walk, or go check the mail box.

Nice looking deer and I believe that the "parrots" are actually "love birds" or something similar in that line. When I was in Hawaii, we had a flock of over a hundred lilac crown parrots the came over our house every morning and evening. Pretty noise guys.

The wild turkeys are pretty common down here and we actually have two or three sub-species; one of them being the "Osceola". As far as other animals; black bears, red fox, bald eagles, osprey, coyote (yes they are in Florida) and a host of others have been seen around our lake. And of course Gators (LOL). It is a real blend of wild life living in the suburbs.

BJ, you are right, and I imagine there are other forms of life there that many people are not aware of, namely, the indian pythons. They can get to be quite big,and are dangerous, as well.
I rceived your PM. Thanks for letting me know the mail arrived okay.

I used to live in a place where I would see wildlife now and then, but the only wildlife I have here are fire ants and mosquitos. I did see a fox run across the road in front of me the other day...no pictures, I was driving.
