It occurred to me that I've been to several US mints. Can anyone top this list:
1. Philadelphia mint.
2. The old New Orleans mint (on Rue Esplande- it was a Jazz museum when I was there).
3. San Francisco mint (the Old Gray Lady wasn't open but at least I went by it, years ago).
4. The Dahlonega, GA mint. They have a nice collection of Georgia gold.
So all I need is Denver, Charlotte, Carson City and West Point.

I took my older boys to Phily. We had a great day. My highlight of course was the mint. I like cities like Phily, Boston and Salem whare much of what you want to see is in walking distance.
