Gotta agree with you there! Once the Cardinals folded like a two dollar suitcase and the Cub's were eliminated.... I could care less to see the Yankee's buy another one. Bring on Rams football!!!!

The Cubs and Sox ought to get together and play a series on their own. I bet it would make a lot of $. What the heck... bill it as the "3rd place" series. "The Series that Shoulda-been"!
The Yankees are the best team and almost always have been. They have the most $ and the best pitchers (which is more than 50% of the game). So it's no surprise they've won something like 39 World Series. IMHO the more the Yankees win, the more MLB loses. It's hard for the Expos and the Royals when Steinbrenner has all the marbles. Where's the excitement for the non-Yankee fan?
And here's an interesting observation: There are more "Yankees" in south Florida than Floridians!

Y'know Robert, that's a great idea...having the cubs and sox play a series of their own. And you are absolutely right that the ratings would probably go through the roof and the money made will be substantial.
If you guys all vote for me as the baseball commissioner, I will make sure it happens!!
