This has the broken O at the bottom on God but I'm not sure if it is the ddo as shown on the site as I'm not sure how to determine the extra thickness described in so many different ddo's and ddr's.Also what is the definition of what is often referred to as class 6

Ken, I have never been able to relly be sure about a class 6, (distended), but I thimnk it is comparable to viewing the "U", with a "pot-belly. I think it also means that everything is being "sort of pulled towards the center of the coin. That might be the class 2, I am describing! You are not alone!

Ken, have you checked the markers? I can't "see" it well enough tio tell anything about it. Coop is on, ans so is Kurt. maybe they, or Bob, will respond.

I'm still undecided on this coin. It looks like circulation may have widen the devices some from what I can tell. The width of the 9 is the same as the rest of the devices. I would save it for now and take some closer images of the date, trust after removing the gunk around the devices. If it is green, then don't touch it. That would be as useless as saying something nice about your mother-in-law. But if it is dirt I would bathe it like I've described before with a very soft tooth brush (Mother in law's if see's not looking) with mineral oil if it is grease. Brushing in several directions not pushing down too hard to put light scratches on the coin. rotate the coin several times to get all devices at different angles to remove the grime from it being careful not to loosen sand and scratch the coin. Experiment on a circulated coin that is worth what it is worth on the back, when you get the technique down on several experimental coins, then tackle this one. If you don't feel comfortable with your results, wait till you do. Take some more images and let's see what it looks like.

I'm not sure about this one, it has some similarities but the vert bar of the E of liberty and some other areas look wider on the one on the site.
Could be that they are both confusing because of wear flattening them.
I've looked for years for the 27-P 1DO-001 and never find that one!
