don't know where to post this topic so i am going to start here. what is the chance that we could make a forum that we might call the basics or some such that tries to bring in the major posts about errors and their differences such as the one EAgames did on the differences of die doubling etc into one forum section so that it is easier to find the information specific to posts that are extremely educational
it would make it easier for the newbs to find good information without having to dig through many posts and it could be up to Bob and CD to move them into said forum
i also think that forum should be locked from regular posters and we could possibly have a way to submit such post for inclusion to admins
I would like and opinion of our site admins and the rest of our community here if possible

I think CD mentioned that he will add an informative section with some examples.

Ed is correct. A lot of these issues will be taken care of when we release our new format (don't quite know when that will be though). I have printed your request, and Chuck and I will discuss it and others when we get to that point. Until that time comes, you do not necessarily have to read through all 30,000 posts. Simply ask your question, and one of many folks here will get back with an answer...OK??
I appreciate your input!

I know (and have always known) that some areas of this site are incomplete and difficult to navigate. That's mostly because I designed this site eight years ago with little programming knowledge. I have since learned a lot and am ready to start redesigning the entire site from scratch, but a site of this magnitude takes careful planning and months of programming and data migration.
One of the many 'added' features of the site in the newer version will be in the educational section. I plan to add a large FAQ section that should cover most general questions.
