Found this last night, going thru a bag of foreign coins:

The darker shots are with flash, and are near the natural color. The others are with the scope lighting.

I'm guessing an arcade token. If it is the size of a quarter and made of brass.

Could be, but what about the "|coat of Arms, and the "V", "B" in the crown? I have a whole slew of that kind of tokens, and carp-wash tokens, not to mention the omnes that say, "let a kid be a kid", among others. All these came in the foreign coins I have been sorting thru. One nice AZ tax token, and another from the "Lake Arrowhead Arcade and Beach".

Dick,

What is the obv/rev die orientation on your Az tax token?

I bet Coop could make a unique avatar with that Indian token,

Thanks Dick,

I was just curious if it was like one of mine.
It is like one, I guess that's the "normal" orientation.

Ed, yes, that is a cow. The miner is depicted, because AZ is well known for the copper mined there. The "Copper State Chronicles", were on TV there many years ago. Much was mentioned about the Copper mining industry as a whole, and much of the "history" concerning the "ost dutchman" gold mine. They don't mention the silver, and gold, but both are abundant. Another mineral Molybnibninum, (sp_), is also recovered in the "moly" plant, and shipped in 55 gallon sized drums in boxcars. The drums are much heavier than the regular old 55-gallon drum, due to the weight. Moly was one of the products we shipped from ASARCO in Sahuarita, AZ. South of Tucson). We also shipped 28-35% puire copper from the "filter plant, to the rail-head in Hillside, AZ. Later, a "Leaching pland was added, to recover the minerald from .o1-.03% copper ore, using sulpheric acid.
