I have been offered a 1909 VDB 1DO-001 Lincoln cent in AU condition (nice clean coin), and I think I'm going to jump on it. I have cherrypicked a couple of this variety, but all in the VG to F range.

I know its hard to tell without pictures, but what would be a ballpark figure on how much this coin should bring?

I would say between $125-145 in AU58 condition.

The die-1 has gone up to crazy prices.
A few years ago you could buy a nice unc for about what a nice AU goes for today.

Even die-2 goes for a lot now.
