Ed I got this PM. I think it relates to photography, but, then, maybe not!

Dick,

You know how some threads get stuck and won't open with AOL (bug filled AOL), the trick is click on the posters ID then "find all posts by the author". The new post that wouldn't open is often the top one (or near the top) and they always open that way.

I sent it to you since you're the only other member that seems to get that same bug other than me.

That's the trick. A workaround for that AOL bug. Smile

Because of the security risk that this forum poses to the server I believe I will start shopping around this summer for a different piece of software to have here for the forum. I am going to attempt to find something that has a tool that will allow me to import the posts from here so we won't lose them. At any rate, my reason for posting this here is that many of the 'bugs' you are finding here will either be gone or will be different bugs when the new version of the site comes out.

Ed, Knowing of this problem, I have also installed IE, and use it verty frequently, yo surf, and try to get used to that way of surfing. I have had AOL forAbout 15 years, and it is hard to get rid of. I like the Icons set yp for the various sites I visit. I can't remember all the text on the individual sites, so I have to rely on the old standby. I also have ATT.NET, and use it the same way, ie IE6, or higher. I casually checked the PM, because I'm expecting one from another member, possibly. That is how I happened on yours.
Chuck, I don't know that much about computers, that it could be a problem, but what ever you end up with, I will be fully in compliance with my equipment, even if it requires the use of a differfent browser. The site, and it's members are that important to me.
