I haven't been looking at much coins lately but came across a 1976 S clad proof quarter in my change. I have read about people finding them but this one is the first for me. It seems that out here we don't get many varieties or errors in circulation, or is it just my luck?

I spent a proof 1969S cent yesterday. Just got tired of it being here. It was a slightly impaired coin, about PR62 in grade. I'm not even sure why I ever bought it. I paid 25 cents for it at a show about ten years ago and it's been sitting since.

I received a proof cent in change about 1990. What made me notice it was the planchet thickness. I think I still have it somewhere.
