traildies,com is moving

While this site has grown and shown continued success with over 8,500 visitors in less than 8 months, Bob Piazza and myself have had increasing difficult with adding additional information to the site.

After a lengthy talk with Chuck Daughtrey, we all agree that traildies.com would be better served as part of Coppercoins.com. So, in the near future, we will start the transfer of information from one site to another and traildies.com will become part of Coppercoins.com.

I do feel that this is a win - win situation for both the collector and us. It will make the trail die files more well known and it will add approximately 900 different dies to Coppercoins' growing list of variety dies.

BJ, in spite of the difficulties, I havbe seen a lot accomplished in yours, and Bob's efforts. Becoming a part of Coppercoins.com, I think is an excellent choice, and decision by all concerned. I congratulate you on a job well done, and look forward to having this extra ingormation available in the best place it could have gone to.

The information and listings made available on traildies.com is without doubt impressive and exciting. I think there are a lot of collectors who will get into this new variety type more and more. Personally, for selfish reasons, I appreciate the move to CC because I like the one stop for most of my lincoln cent attributions. I can't imagine the amount of time and work people like Chuck, BJ, Bob and others who spend countless hours of studying, researching, identifying, cataloging, photographing, maintaining, and publishing the amount of listings made available to all of us. I am grateful to you all, and again, I'm glad traildies is moving in with coppercoins.
