Lucky2,
I believe you have one of the nicer repunched dates for the 1891 Indian head cent. That's what it looks like to me anyway. I have an 1891 also, but the first two digits is what is repunched, not the last two. In either case, it is definitely a variety worth holding on to. I will do a little research and see if I can't come up with an attribution for you...OK?

Bob Did you ever get the idea that you were snake bit. It would figure that the first two digits have important doubleing because on my coin the first two digits are clean as a whissle and the last two are doubled. LOL If I ever find a 1955 Doubled Die it will probably be beat to crap, coroaded with green slime dripping from it.

FS # 1 c -010.87 (Breen 2020, Snow 3) RPD.
There's a pic in my 4th edition Cherry Pickers Guide that looks a lot like that. Not sure if it's the same coin but it looks close. Should be doubling to the north of all four numerals.
xf: $100
2-star rating.

Well Lucky2...I don't know about snake bit, but I did find that there were a few repunched dates for 1891. The fact that your coin shows the recut on the last two digits versus mine showing on the first two doesn't mean much anyway. I still have not located an attribution for it. The info Robert gave was one that I looked at also. I will keep looking.
If you ever find that 1955 DD beat to crap, with corrosion and green slime running off it.....if you don't want it, I'll take it
