Must be my lucky week.
Someone sent me a P mint log cabin cent yesterday.

Today I saw a penny in a parking lot and picked it up, it's a nice unc D mint log cabin cent!

Whoo Hooo!!! I'm easy to please Laughing

Other than that I've got none in change, nothing minted in 2009 whatsoever.

Ed, you are luckier than I! I have several "D", (12), and they all, or most came from Home Depot. "Have you built anything lately"? I hit a Discount tool ouitlet, joping to pick up a couple more, but no luck. my nect sorty, will be to buy a bunch or customer wrapped rolls, just in case they might have received a few, and aren't collectors! I did get a HI quarter, finally. The wife got it in change fron Denny's> Maybe they hace '09 cents. The one she went to, didn't, or at least she didn't get one.
Before I forget, so you have any of the '69-D ROPM's? I'm tryint to get images of all that are known, to make a data bade of them. Maybem, then I can' post them for the members. I have a standing request for then on CONECA. Maybe BJ can help, there.
Thanks to any, and all for your help.

Dick

Dick,

I don't have any 69-d RPMs.

I barely look for memorial RPMs.
The only ones I stumbled on are the huge 70-S that's often in mint sets. Maybe the reason I ignored memorial RPMs is I never found many copper memorial RPMs and the zinc ones often have plating problems so the small RPMs are tough to ID without a lot of wild goose chases. Also the mintages (number of dies used) are so big compared to most wheats, maybe the odds are that finding a specific memorial RPM is more difficult than wheat RPMs? I have lots of rolls of memorials so if I get bored I should see what I find. Smile

Ed, I have a lot of the 1960-D RPM's, but I am going to have to go thru them again, to confirm the MM variety. I got a '69-S from the wifes change, and also a "D", as well. Then I found we have very few images, and neither of them match any on the site. There are several, (about 8 MM, and two DDO's. The only problem is no photos. They are identified on CONECA listings, but, again, the lack of photos is the case,) Now that I have gotten the lverlay "partly under control", I will be able to ID them easier. That doesn't count about 25 boxes that haven't been searched! I agree, the zinc is a bad thing, that happened to the cent. If rhe mint would buy their strips from the same providers, that the Canadians use, matybe they would last longer. Not ot mention be MUCH better received. I haven't seen a Can cent, that looks like one of our zincolns.
That is why I was making a general call to the members, to see if among the group, there might be images that could be p[osted for the mutual benefit. Never hurts to ask! Thanks to all, for any assistance in this subject.
Dick

garryn, they are as scarce as "hen's teeth"! Try a visit to Home Depot. That is where mine came from, 6, (another 6 came from the grocery store).
