The 9 in the date is what caught my eye. I haven't looked at many 1945's so couldn't make a comparison. The date seemed extra thick to me as well as the lower portions of the letters in TRUST. Couldn't match any markers which makes me think I'm wrong, but thought I would see what you guys thought.

Rock,
The diagnostics for a Class 6 DDO are there on your coin. From what I can see on LIBERTY is also part of the twisting I would associate with this class. Is it possibled to get a closeup of LIBEr or LIBERTY??

hope this works for you Bob. I know what you mean by the letters in LIBERTY having concaved points and that being a good indication of a class VI DDO. Do you think this qualifies?

Looks like a class 6 to me. The other place you can look is the lower horizontal of the E on WE, it makes a little ramp on the end of it.

Yes Rock...it qualifies as a class 6 doubled die. The strength would be considered light to moderate on this variety, but it is definitely a DDO.
