Per Coin World, Aug 2, the US Mint will be releasing the new commem nickels on Aug 3 at the Fort Atkinson State Park, north of Omaha.

That fort was the first US military post west of the Missouri River, 1820, at the recommendation of Lewis and Clark. If you get a chance (and I bet you will, seeing how this is the 200th anniversary of their trek), see Ken Burn's documentary about them on PBS.
