Hi Everyone.. I wondered if someone would take a look at these 2 pennies(im sorry the pictures aren't real nice, it's hard to get a nice close up) I think they look doubled, something like the one's Bob found.. Is this the same thing, or different.. looks longer to me, looks like it's pretty much his whole finger..

I might be a different doubled die.
The thumb shows it and it shows better on the next finger.
Welcome!

This is definitely a doubled die. Congrats! There are at least 9 different ones that folks have contacted me about. This one looks to be different than all of them.

Is the 'bookmark' variation legit? I saw one listed on ebay and have to wonder at the pricing...

To be honest with you all, this is not the time to be buying these DDRs, especially from E-bay auctions. The price will be inflated and until the amount of these DDRs (and DDOs) is better known, the prices will remain high. It is more advantageous for you to buy rolls and do your own searching.
If you remember, going back a few years, the same craze was seen with the Minnesota quarter doubled dies. When the first ones were found, they were going for $75.00 and up. That was until more and more and more of them popped up. With that quarters DDRs now with over a 100 listings (P, D and S), people have waned in trying to collect them all because of that vast numbers involved. So, the prices have moderated considerably from the first ones that were sold.

Excellent advice, BJ, and especially with the dis-parity of the distribution of the general mintage, of both mints.

Welcome DD to the forum.
You said "(im sorry the pictures aren't real nice, it's hard to get a nice close up)."
I think those are great pictures. It'ds hard to get close-ups with the lighting that you've got there. Thanks
