Not sure what to make of this. I'm hoping somebody can do an overlay of the new "formative years" Lincoln to see what caused this. I found a couple with the same markings under the chin and smaller marks on the neck. Is this a possible die clash? Hope the pictures show them well enough.

I didn't have an overlay from the second one, or the latest, but the Log cabin, yes. I was fooled when i started looking for the known marks "on the neck"! Right marks, but wrong coin design. I saw the overlays Coop posted, and they are great! Check CT. They are there.

Thanks, Steven. That answers that question. I love those overlays. Wish I knew how to do them. Oh well.
