Overlay of the statue area confirms a positive match. Nice find.

Thank Coop, you know, I never thought of that, as I monkey around with photoshop to and the overlay thing never entered my mind as a tool that could be used................

When Doing overlays of reverses is different than the overlays for mint marks. If you have the full cornice and steps, that helps to size vertically. Or you do what you can with the two images you have. In this case I used the top step of both images to level them. Both were about 2 degrees off in the same direction. The image on the site was missing the cornice at the top of the statues, so I cropped both images from the top of the head to the first step. Sized them both the same in height (300 Pixels) and did the overlay and it was a match. Even the extra knee was a match. When One image has less details in the image, you just crop them the same. Top of the head, shoulder or what ever is common to both images and set the height or width (If you are cropping vertically) to the same size on both images. (I use horizontal cropping on memorial reverses and vertical cropping on mint mark locations, setting the correct height or width to the correct setting. ((One direction not to both. Leave constrain proportions checked.))
