Is this obverse just worn or is it possibly a DDO? I see none listed. The reverse definetly seems DD No markers left.

Guess I should find another hobby I thought the LIB & EPL looked fat, and the openings smalls (B,P).

The devices do get flat and stretched out somewhat as the coin circulates. It is a lot more difficult to identify class 6 doubled dies on circulated coinage.

T,
Don't switch hobbies! I had the same experience when I first started looking at coins. Everything looked doubled and the whole machine doubling vs. true double dies was quite confusing. After looking at thousands of coins and getting the feedback from the fantastic group of people on this site I started to get better at it.
I think I helped myself by looking at numerous pictures on this web site to get more familiar with the true signs of doubling. I also found it easier when I started to sort coins by the same year and mint mark and look at all of those at the same time. If you jump from one year/mint to another it is more difficult to pick up the differences.
Just my two cents.

Rollmeupabe, I would say your advice to tery, is worth much more than two cents, even if they were 2009, first issue!
