For what it is wiortyh: I don't klnow what you have ion mind, for the rolls, so it is very difficult to advise. But, if you wnat '70's to date, go to the bank, and get them at face value! No S&H, noi sellers "amark-up', etc. The cross section of the newer cents will tend to be zincolns.

I still see some OBW memorial rolls for cheap at small shows.
Most of the ones I've picked up turned out to be unsearched.
Since most go for $1-$3 if they're ugly or spotted I spend them and get another.

Many tubed rolls aren't searched and if they are it's often for high grades not varieties other than the big well known ones.

Maybe the toughest ones to find are some of the mid 80s-90s zinc rolls. More people were hoarding rolls from 59- mid 70s.

To be more specific I was thinking of looking for the doulbed die years and maybe 1970 small date. Just thought it may be a way to get lucky and find some thing in a high grade. Just one roll a month or so kinda like lotto just for fun.

Yes, on those big DDO years I bet more rolls have been searched. In any case I wouldn't pay a big premium for them.

For 1972, 1983, 1984 you might find the other minor doubled dies even if people already searched for the big ones.

Some of the 70-s SD cents came from the mint sets but some also came from rolls. Also some of the mint sets have the nicest 70-s RPM cent. Always check the 1970 mint sets Wink
