Dick, the Indians don't mean much to me. Watch those CC Morgans jump up on the last day.

| This does not come up often. Up for bid is part of a life time collection from Grandpa's estate! |
One of the most worn lines on eBay. There's a reason someone wouldn't sell these individually, imo. Probably every single one is a cull, cleaned or some other problem. Yeah, I'm cynical...but I've seen every trick pulled with IHCs, hehe.

I guessed that might be the case. The seller has another item, same thing, except there are are 402 items. They are from '95 to '08. common dates. Best one could hope for is a few RPD's.

morgans are fine, but way out of my class! I like the cents, Can. US, IHC, FE. The last two are becoming but a dream, looking at the prices on them!

He is trying to give the impression that he gave minimal attention to the coins. However, they look like they are in fairly new 2x2's which weren't available when "Grandpa" was collecting. I did go thru a real lifetime collection of coins recently which i described in the "Wheat Harvesting" topic in Lincoln Cents. The result was no keys in any denomination, some semi-keys that were seriously cleaned and/ or environmentally damaged. This looks like a similar disaster waiting to happen.
Oh and this is post number 1,000 for me, since July 9, 2003, 6 years and a handful of days and every post I have read and written has been very enjoyable for me. My rank ribbon now says I am an "expert member" which I think is kind of funny. I usually post in the Series Specific section since I am not too familiar with varieties and errors and have learned everything I know from Chuck, Bob, Coop, Smed, Gabe, Robert, BJNeff, wavysteps, and all the 229 members I havent mentioned that are currently here. Drinks are on the house.

Good grief...someone dropped $9K on the basis of those pics??
I can only guess money is less important to some.

Heck I threw away all those 2x2 manila envelopes. I had hundreds of them.
He should have split it into two piles, maybe he could have gotten $9K for each.

Dick, I might feel better if I knew some Wall St. guy blew part of his bonus on that, More likely it was a HSN shopping addict.

Kurt, you are right! At least it would be something worthwhile, even thought it likely is culls, cleaned, dings, etc, but still UHC.
Garry, there were two lots. One had 402, and the other had310, or there abouts, but one pile was '59-'94, and the other was '95-'08. I considered the larger lor for the date spread, for hole fillers, but decided against it. I hace enough culls, etc. I need coins that will fill the hole, but at the same time be a part of the series.
