I thought I'd post a pic of a cool IHC variety that often gets overlooked. This is the 1887 DDO (Snow-1), and I've found a few on eBay and in dealer's "bargain bins". The serif separation on the E and C in AMERICA are pretty dramatic--and easy to spot in most grades. In higher grades, there is doubling evident in the feather shafts. Happy hunting!

That is a nice looking IHC. Mine is alsmost as clear, but the '88/87 is pretty hard to see, but it is there.
I am going thru about 500 IHC, that were soaking in mineral oil for about six weeks. They weere then put in a 4:1 solution of awesoms, and water, to soak overnight. they came out pretty clean. I can see all the digits, woithout having to dig down, into the crud, to see if it is an RPD. These are re-runs, so no surprises expected.
