With the addition of a new 1962P DDR from our very own BJ Neff, coppercoins.com now has reached 2500 listed varieties. Pretty soon, we will also reach 15,000 photos on the site as well. Thanks to all of you for helping us to achieve this milestone.

It never ceases to amaze me that my little Lincoln Cent project started 11 years ago would (or could) ever turn into what it has. There are plans for a much bigger future of the site - I just have to find the time to work without income (all the work I do here is basically free) on this project to make those plans turn into reality. Once they do, this will be a top-notch premier site for numismatists worldwide to use as a benchmark for other sites. It will be very good when it happens.
As for what we have now and how it got to this point...I couldn't be more grateful to have the assistance I have had, especially from Bob, who took so many photographs, worked so many hours, and has been so good to me and the users of this site. Most of the credit for the past couple of years on this site goes directly to him.
My position with my work and my income is turning around to the point that I do expect to have some time this winter to work on the site and start the long-awaited improvement process that I have been planning and laying out for nearly five years now. Stay tuned!

It's amazing what a small site has turned into,1 of,if not the BEST SITE for copperheads. It has helped(and still is)me and I'm sure many others tremendously in identifying ddo's,rpm's and all other errors relating to coppers. All the members are extremely helpful in helping with all questions and I thank you Chuck,Bob and all of you friendly folks for this.I am sure it will only keep getting better and better God Bless all of you

Yes, I agree, when I first started considering coins as a hobby again, I figured Id have to do it all myself. But Chuck's help and BJ and all the other members who have volunteered comments on my finds or questions are a big help and incentive to keep trying.
This is a good spot, I wanted to thank BJ who recently checked a few coins for me. He turned them around sooner than I thought about to check to make sure he had received them.
And he drafted a very professional letter in response and explained everything.
I would be back to square 1 if this website became unavailable.
