Three new commems

Per Coin World, Aug 30, page 22, President Bush has authorized the production of:

1. 250th anniv of the birth of Chief Justice of the U.S. John Marshall silver dollars. 400K max will be made in 2005.

2. 230th anniv of the US Marine Corps silver dollars. 500K max will be made in 2005.

3. 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown colony in VA. This is a gold $5 coin (100K max) and a silver dollar (500K max). These will be issued in 2007.

Article mentions surcharges.

1. $10 for Supreme Court Historical Society.
2. $10 for the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.
3. $35 for the gold and $10 for the silver dollar. 2/3 goes to "Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation", 1/3 goes to Secretary of the Interior and 1/3 to Association of the PReservation of Virginia Antiquities.
