Each year ends and another begins with thoughts and reflections. Thoughts of what could be to come,a nd reflections on the things that have happened. During my thought and reflection period this morning, I have promised myself to do the best I can to do the following:
1. Search an average of at least two rolls daily. That would be 730 rolls over the year. It would barely put a dent in the overall pile, but would get me a lot farther along in accomplishing the goal of searching everything I have before I'm gone.
2. Attribute, photograph, and list at least 365 different coins. That's only an average of one per day. I think I can keep up with this.
3. Reopen the attribution guide and finish at least five packets this year.
4. Re-open attribution services by the end of the year.
Questions? Comments? Your plans for 2010?

I applied today for a sales tax id. I quit my job 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and have not had any luck finding any kind of work other than minimum wage or close to it. I'm going to try my hand at full-time online selling, and possibly setting up a table at the local flea market.
That's my plans for 2010!

Chuck, Your plans seem to be simple enough, abd are workable. Two rolls a day is more than I go thru, for many reasons, some valid, others not. Your experience will help you in your plans, and will give you a good start on finding what you have. The nice part, in tour case, is having the coins in the condition they are. mine would have half a dozen in a box, by comparison. The attribution guide you have started, and had to put aside for many reasons, the whole year in Florida, your health problems, and any others we are not aware of, have been partly to blame for this. Your health is number one! When yo are back in shape to pick up, where you left odd, and work on the guide, I will be looking forward to ggetting the ones I am missing, and then continue with the packets, as they are ready.
Do what you have to do, for your health, then take care of the rest. Being the last day of the year,, wrap up as many loose ends as possible, and enjoy the New Year ahead. may it bring GOOD health, and happiness, and a profitable return on your work, and investments,as well. sincerely,
Dick

2009 ended brightly for me as we have built 3 new homes and have contracts to build 3 more to start the New Year off right. I plan on trying to retire again by the end of the year, but that might be more wishful thinking than anything else. I will maintain my time devoted to coppercoins, and slowly replace some of the bad photos on the site that I took many years ago when I first got started here.
I wish you and yours...my coppercoins family, a very happy and prosperous New Year
