Ok, probably a stupid question. Why does it seem like the Philli also produces the errors?

Not really. it is a case of percentages, mostly. Some of it might be old equipment, operators, getting tie]red at the end of a long shift, design. It is obvious they produce more errors, and varieties than Denver. No good reason why. That is what makes it nice for the EASTERN seabord collectors. We people "Way out west' don't have that kind of luck. "Our Mint" is too new. or something....

Yea, I feel like we get stiffed alot on errors. But it does make it easy going through rolls looking for known errors or varieties. Thank you for your input, I have been wondering about that question for sometime and could never come up with a valid excuse.

The fact that we see so few coins from Philadelphia, makes it hard to make a decision, about the why. I can imagine they have the same problem with Denver minted coins, except that they don't receive all the "hullablu' about the errors, that Philly, does. Mostly, because there aren't that many errors, or varieties in the "D" coins. As far as the "S" is concerned, we both suffer from the lack of them, and they are closer than Denver, or Philly!
