I just recently bought a lot of RPM's. Most of them look correctly identified and labeled, but a few I'm not so sure about and need your help on.
First up is this 1959D. It looks like #001, but is lacking the die break and die cracks, maybe from wear? I'm still struggling with die sates and grading.
How do you think this would grade? I was trying to compare it to the grading pics, but a lot of the links are broken or for some reason my computer isn't loading them, not sure which.

I also meant to ask if I should be posting these here or somewhere else?

scooby due, I can't see the dates well enough to tell if itiis MD, or RPM. They are fuzzy. My vision is faulty, so don't take this as a "sut in stone".
You do have them in the right place. If its something new, it goes in "new finds". It takes a little time to get familiar with any forum, and this one is no different. I still have much to learn about navigating here. Mostly, because, I haven't gone looking to see what all we do have. The main part, "here, and the search the data baase is where I "hang out".
I saw that listing, but didn't bid. I have bid on so many, and ended up "waiting in the church", that I decided to pay a bit more, but when i pat, i get the goods.

I don't see any MD elsewhere (I know, that does't mean it isn't), I do think it's an RPM, but I'm no pro.
It never crossed my mind as being "new", I couldn't be that lucky.
As far as the listing that I bid on, I don't think I did too bad. It was 68 RPM's, yet to still be confirmed but the majority I have checked so far are good. Only 7 duplicates, all are in nice to very nice shape, they were ID'ed and labeled. They cost $26 for the whole lot, but since I used my EBay bucks, I only layed out $2.25 out of pocket!
Still, I don't think $26 was too bad.

Would you say VF20 on this one?

Sounds good to me. If it had any scratches/dings/damage on it it would have fallen to the bottom. But your looks nice.

Your 1959D-1MM-001 is EF40. Slight flat spots on the cheek and jaw. VF would be considerable flattening of those areas with separation between them.

Thanks Chuck! That sounds even better! I'm trying to get grading down and seems like I always underestimate. I guess that's good if I'm buying, but not so good if I were selling.
