I think double face is about right on the dateless nickels.
More common, lower grade IHCs go for about greysheet ask at retail, and about 70-90% of bid for dealers.
Lincoln cents, if common and lower grade will generlly run around greysheet bid for retail and about 70% bid for wholesale.

How does "greysheet" prices figure, or relate to "coin Prices, or "Coin Values? I have never seen a "Greysheet. The only thing I have see along this line is the "Black book", that came out several years ago. I also have "Trends", but that is Canadian. Thanks, for your info.

Greysheet has two prices for everything - Bid and Ask. The ask price is somewhat close to retail on most things, but is under in some areas and over in others. Truthfully none of the price guides really agree with one another completely.
Generally the bid prices are about 15-20% below the ask prices. They are supposed to be dealer to dealer pricing with bid being the price a dealer should bid for items, and ask being the price dealers should ask for them to other dealers. Its use has transcended its purpose over time, where now "ask" is generally retail price, and "bid" is about 10-30% more than a dealer would give for the items depending on popularity of the items.

Thanks for the info, Chuck! I'll keep it in mind, and see hoe it works out. It can't be qworse that just accepting the asking price, and, or not have any idea abouit how much to ask for.
