Ed, IO just found out where the pearls are, and where the diamonds are. I'm sorry yo say I thought the necklace was only pearls, and that they were being called one, or the other, due to not knowing for sure what they were. In fact, I thought there were only pearls, and have commented to that effect, (in error)!
Now i know where they are, and how many there are of each. I had never had "explicit info" in that area, so it was a surprise, when I read in ricks new 1890-1909 Guide what the facts were. Some of us take a bit longer to see what is plain for everyone else.
I got the last of my tribe in, and checked. Nothing spectacul;ar, but there are two, or three varieties, so not too bad, considering.

Hey Dick,

Maybe you can explain.

I think of the diamonds on the IHCs.

Ed, There are six pearls on the "pendant, and around the neck. There are three diamonds, (visible), on the side fgacing the viewer, and they are on the end of the strip of the headband that comes down from the back of the neck.
I did not know where they were until I saw the image, that showed the "points of interest", on the 1886, "with "L", -1909.
I am goimnt to try and get a scan of the image, (picture), and post it for the benefit of any who still don't know, and "were afraid to ask", LOL
