Sorry, RPMs don't happen on coins that are on the 1990 Cents forward. Since then the mint marks are part of the design for the Denver minted coins. If the mint marks are doubled, the date also would have to be doubled as they are doubled dies in this case. But your coin is a normal Cent from that year. Sorry. _________________ Richard S. Cooper

Adding to what is already posted...
The apparent separation line you are seeing on the mintmark is due to rub on the coin. The top (highest) ridge of the mintmark gets abrasion and appears to be a separation line. _________________ C. D. Daughtrey
