Not sure about this one.Any ideas.What's the difference between large ans small mm for this date?

The above gives all the mintmark styles. Yours is the small mintmark, so it can't be 1MM-001.

Hi Wendell,Thank you for the excellent link on the mm's.Going by the link,I compared the 2 styles and the large mm has more of an oval space on the curves as to a more rounded style for the small mm in addition to the elongated serifs.I think this may be the large s mm.Maybe someone else will comment on this to clarify 1 way or the other. Confused

I think it's the small style.

I'm not 100% certain but look at the center section, on the large one it's different. Let's see if anyone else has an opinion.

Well, it's not an opinion...but the coin photographed in this thread is a small mintmark. The style of font used in the large mintmark is much different.

I do not see it in that image, but it could very well just be the image. I would need to either see the coin or a much better lit and focused image of the mintmark to tell for sure.
