I found this while searching the last few rolls from a box that came from a bank.
It looks in great shape, it must have been in someone’s
piggy bank or jar for a long time.
I also found a 1998 wide AM. And a few other ones
that I’ll post when I can get better pictures.

Actually, two of the rolls had dimes in them, so with this coin
and the 1998 wide AM
also in this box I found-----
Nine wheat cents (oldest being a 1916-D in good condition )
A one cent coin from the Bahamas

That puts me ahead six cents on this box of cents.
Stand aside D Trump I’m climbing the ladder one cent at a time.

If you mean a 1995-D those are much much rarer and even though the doubling on the D mint coin is less they sell for a lot more because of being rare.

1995-D 1DO-003:

One neat thing about the 1995-D doubled dies is that they're one of the few nice modern (after hand punched mintmarks) D mint doubled dies so the doubling shows nice on the D as well as on the design.

You never know just what you will find floating around.
I found out yesterday that someone around here turned in
A large amount of silver certificates and old two dollar Fed Reserve notes at the gas station. I wish that I would have been around for that one.
I’m going to pick up a couple more boxes in week or two,
I need to rest my eyes….besides I’m getting the urge to copper plate the kitchen appliances .

Exactly what D42 said - die varieties are still out there - LOTS of them. No reason to assume anything about them being dried out. I have looked through close to 20,000 coins this year and haven't found hardly anything worth writing about. That doesn't stop me though, because I know they are out there waiting to be found.
