As I specialize in world overdates, I'm always looking for photo reference of coins I can search for at shows. Here are some interesting examples, clockwise from upper left. If you collect overdates, Peru is an easy country to collect, even for modern issues.
- UK 1/2d 1856/96 (with the underlying 9 inverted)
- Norway 10 Øre, 1918/7
- Peru 50 Sols (gold) 1962/52
- Guatemala 1/4 Real 1842/29
- France, Napoleon era 13/12 year

On the 1856 - what I see is 1856/1856 with a very low 5. Where is the 9?
Nice grouping...I think overdates are interesting regardless of the country of origin.

Hmm...that explains the top stroke I see protruding from the 5 at 3:00. I just went by the Heritage description, when I should have used my own eyes.
