Hi ken!
I passed the info on to another member of CCRS, and he was satisfied with it, apparently. It was one that came along thru inheritance, i suspect.
He thanks you, as well.

The 2010 Krause has the following values in VG/F/VF/XF
KM608 12.65g silver reeded edge 15/40/60/85
KM609 12.17g silver plain edge 50/70/95/125
KM609a copper plain edge 200/400/525/850
The pics look like it has a reeded edge.

Hi SMED!
Thanks for the info. it is more up to date, but esentially the samt, other than the values. I appreciate your efforts.
I don't have the Krause Book any more. mine was at least twenty years behind in info, and i had quit world coins, so no loss.
I am onklt working with the Victorian coins, (1858-1901), and more specifically, the 1859-N9. Trying to mate the dies, and identify the "off-spring". with 10 million coins minted, there is enough for everyone, and then some!
Cheers,

Good luck with those Canuck coins. I've tried to differentiate between their 19th century obverse designs as some of them have much greater values, but I can't figure them out.
Yet.

SMED,If you are interested in the Victorian large cents, I can provide some very helpful links, that will help determine which OBV is which. You might try the CCRS site,
http://www.canadiancoin.com
This link is one that you will find very helpful:
http://dan-in-crystal-lake.piczo.com/?g=1&cr=6
Most of the members are very knowledgable, and also most helpful, as well.
Also, the Author of a set of three books, which deal with the "Vickys", in particular, is a member. His books are worth their weight in gold.
There are several working on the 1859, all, 1858, 1859/9, and the 1859-N9, as well as the"kings".
I am working on the N9's, reverses.
Let me know, okay?
