[quote"Errornut"] I found a couple of these and it appears to be trails coming off of "IN GOD". Could these be trails or are they just die scratches? Any thoughts, all are appreciated. Thanks. [/quote]

These are not trails, but they are die scratches.

I thought they were polish marks, left over from a clash, that was cleaned up.

The die scratches are to widely spaced for abrading a die clash. Also, a die clash in that position would make it a tilted die clash, which is very rare outside the 1960 small date Lincoln cents.

Thanks BJ, I was not aware ot that detail.
I have coins with them,,and most were wheats, if not all. I thought they were polish, or maybe file marks, due to size. Could that be?
TIA,
