A guy is 72 years old and loves to fish. He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say, 'Pick me up.'He looked around and couldn't see anyone. He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again, 'Pick me up.'

He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog. The man said, 'Are you talking to me?'

The frog said, 'Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick me up then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!'

The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front pocket.

The frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.'

He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, 'Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.'

At my age, I heartily agree!

Wise choice - anybody have an idea what a talking Frog might be worth today?

Real question.

I guess if you want to know what a talking frog is worth, We should probably be best to ask the frog.

That won't do any good... everybody knows that talking frogs always pad their values...

...or do they value their (lily) pads...?

*snicker*

Just barely on my feet again. The operation did change nothing. The 6 weeks of Physical torture didn't change anything. Still not able to work and forced into retirement as benefits ran out and I'm still a cripple. So I'm enduring. The Doctor wants to do another surgery. I don't think so with his track record. LOL

Coop, I'm sorry to hear you are not 100%. like before. Maybe the DR wants to go for 100%, (retirement). (For him).
Take it from me, retirement is not what it's cracked up to be. I last worked at my trade in '81, and srill don't want to retire! maybe i don't see as well as before, or run as fast. (Of course I never did see much sense in runnung). What is all the hurry? You have to do it anyway!
For example: My house needed some attention, so it did a "strip-tease". The siding dad to be replaced, (where it had been installed weong). while doing that, i found water damage, in another panel, in the carport. So more of the same. After cheating a little, ( I only have two hands, and the job had to be done by myself), it is now completed, the cabling, and other external wiring, and cabling all replaced, and the thing painted. Retired? Are you kidding? And then there is the "Honey-Do" list.I did get a chance to look at a coin the other night. I couldn't see much, because the luight bothered my wife, and the dog, so it was a total loss, so I went back to bed. It was only 3 AM.
Give it some thought. If he can give you 100% disability, and still allow you to perform, and act 90%, go for it.

Still waiting on pension funds and social security doesn't come in till Aug. I've moved into my new job. Selling off my collection. So I moved from collector to dealer. Helping other fill their collections.

Well I can make great images and have many good coins. Now I have time on my hands. An several rolls to sell off as well. That should keep me busy. LOL

I appreciate the kind words. I just have to allow my self time going from from place to another because of the foot problem. Seems like now the other fit is trying to sdo the same thing. Great!

Good to have your support Dick.

Happy Easter, Coop!
I didn't know it was Easter, intil I looked at the calemder to see what the date was. I don't pay much attention to days, or dates any more. I live the day, and hope for another one to live tomorrow. I start projects, but cannot guarantee that I will be there to finish.
Don't get e wrong. I plan on living to be 125, but not everything I plan turns out the way I expected, or wanted, sooooo.
Coop, you will always have my support! I may not have much to offer, but I will always be there. You are one of my friends!

That is a beauty of a Rose!
