May 15 begins the sale on "Shop at Home" cable network.

Coins will be "ungraded" but sealed in NGC holders. Lots of gold and silver in that ship.

So far, Odyssey Marine Exploration Inc (I have their website elsewhere) says they recovered 22.7% of the $400,000 face that went down in 1865. It was going from NY to New Orleans but sank in a hurricane off the GA coast.

Unfortunately, anything you buy from S.A.H. network is about 2x the actual price.

Per Se[ 13 Coin World, the SS Republic recovery is wrapping up.

Estimations are $75M worth of stuff so far and 15K artifacts other than coins, including "shaving mugs, shoes, religious figures, pottery, bottles, and even fruit still preserved in jars".

They estimate there are 3 million shipwrecks in the world's oceans.

Next shipwreck is the Sussex.

I have no vested interest in the company. I just think it's cool what they're doing.
