Hi, I've been trying to find info on this and don't know if all mintmarks were tilted that year or what. I looked in the CONECA Masterlistings and found NO dimes from 1938 in it. Anybody got any info?

That's a very tilted D!
I think you'll see no listings because nobody lists tilted mintmarks that are not also RPMs (as far as I know).
There are some big ones out there, I think the biggest tilt I've seen on Lincolns is on a 1958-D.
I guess nobody cares about em. In fact I think I tossed a few of those tilted 58-Ds in with a bag I sold so I don't have a pic to show it.

Just hand punched. Rotation not a factor. RPM Yes, but this one looks like a normal mint mark. So just another coin from what I can see.

Jon - I would very much like to use your picture of the tilted die on a new site that is being constructed. You will be given credit for the picture and the find. Please contact me at traildies#@AOL.com.
Thanks,
BJ Neff
