Yep, even *I* need help IDing a world coin every now and then... actually, I'm not certain this is even a coin on this brooch.

It's Arabic-esque... but I don't know if it's Arabic. Hopefully Chuck will take a look because if I remember correctly he reads Arabic.

I had a coin from Moracco that had design mysterious like that one.

Looks Persian (Iran) to me. When I was over in Iran in the early part of 1974, their coins looked very similar.
