Just watching a movie today provoked me in to writing this.
HOW IS LOS ANGELES SURVIVING
After all the tornadoes, volcanoes, earthquakes and now alien invasions, there should not be any Los Angeles.

You know Hollywood! Anything can happen there, (and usually does)!

It is like Tokyo. How many times did Godzilla and his crew have their way with that city.

Look at this way:
When "Tarzan" was johnny Weismuller, and "King Kong", was the original release, Hollywood was just getting sound, and "Talkies".
How many of you remember that?
(Coop excluded)!

The first Weismuller Tarzan movie came out 5 years after The Jazz Singer; Fay Wray's King Kong came out the following year.

SMED, Thanks for the "time-table". I was pretty small, and didn't recall the which came first, but they were "way back when"!
Some time around the Famous " Mae West".
You're dating yourself! LOL
Coop, I hope you are referring to when he had not met "Jane", yet. Now there was one to "go ape" over!

I thought the old Tarzan scenes were filmed at Tarpon Springs Fla., along with the old Sea Hunt series?

Sea Hunt was my favorite show.
In almost every episode there's some pretty girl that chases Mike. I bet he had fun making the show
It was filmed in many places including Tarpon Springs.
From Wiki:
The underwater sequences were filmed in a matrix fashion at many locations including studio tanks and outdoor locations in California, Florida, and eventually the Bahamas. Much stock footage was shot and later mixed with episode-specific character footage. Filming locations included Marineland of the Pacific (Park operated 1954–1987), the front side of Catalina Island, Paradise Cove west of Malibu, Silver Springs, Florida, Cypress Gardens, Florida, Tarpon Springs, Florida, Nassau, and Grand Bahama Island. On-land location shots were filmed throughout Los Angeles, central Florida, and Nassau, or on a sound stage.
