Sometimes the pics from those can be really misleading. I think it's because you don't have enough control of lighting and gain.
You might come to a different conclusion using a different scope or magnifier.
On the 2011 date it looks like strike doubling. Notice how the area with the doubling took away from the normal width of the details. Die doubling adds something along with the normal detail, when you see something that took away from the normal width it's strike doubling.
