I think CD hates to see it "just die, and lay there.
I'm sure he had a lot of pride in what he had accomplished, and regretted the decision to close the active forum.
Maybe he is sitting on the fence, waiting, (and maybe hoping it will return to the activity it once had). If that be the case, count on me to do my part! This is where I really became a collector, and had an idea as to what it was all about.
What say? Can we do it?

The LCR forum is a lot more active. I'm over a 1,000 posts and I started in January.

It IS more active, and I am a member, I believe. When I first joined, here, I also joined LCR, (I think), due to the References that CD was, (is?) writing. The reference to that site was quite freqwuent. OI don't remember my password, due to so many changes, over the years, so I most likely, would just re-join, (if there is no "Bot-Buster"! I can't see them to read what it says. And, like many sites, if there is no way to make direct contact, to make changes, or exceptions, then I don't stand a chance. For example;
My brothers "family "BLOG", has the squiggle, and they don't rep[ly to a direct question. DISCRIMINATION! The same with any site with no contact ,edia. Not a problem! I don't recognize "shirt-tail relations"!
LCR is a good site, or it would not have been on the tool-bar.
It was on my tool-bar, for sure.

Dick - If you have any problems logging in to the LCR forum you can contact Bob directly. He has access to change things, recover passwords, etc.
All hope is not lost. That forum is far more active than this one ever was, and it has a lot of content.
Aside from that, the format of the new coppercoins does not have room for a forum. I am chancing everything about how the site works. It's just taking more time than I thought it would. I would expect to be deleting the forum with the introduction of the new version of the site here in about a month.
