Elections coming up tomorrow, they always make me nervous...what if I vote for the wrong things/people? I know my vote singly doesn't count for much, but it does count. I have thought long and hard about the different folks I'm voting for as president, senator, governor, commissioner, etc...but there are also judges on the ballot I know nothing about. There's an amendment on the ballot about gas taxes and diverting them into a highway fund instead of the overall state budget fund...I just don't know all I should to give an educated vote, and that bugs me. I keep up with things and try my best, but I guess it's hard to keep up with one's daily life and keep up with everything going on in an election year as well. Blah...I'll just vote and see what happens. That's the best I can do.

I also encourage everyone who signs on and reads this to vote as well. Doesn't matter to me who you vote for, I am generally an anti-political person. I just think everyone here should exercise their duty and right to make their voice heard.

Very well said Chuck. I waited in line for almost 2 hours to vote this morning. It would be easy to say that it is a waste of time, or that there are no issues that affect me directly, but ultimately, they all do.
About the only good thing I see about this election ending, is that maybe I won't get 30 phone calls a day telling me to vote, and to listen to everyones platform. Did you know Bill Clinton, John Kerry, George W Bush, Barbara Bush, and the entire northern hemisphere call me personally to encourage me to vote? Gee...I must be really popular. They all have the same phone number too! What zip code is 'Out of Area' in? What's really amazing is that Barbara Bush keeps calling me. She sounds remarkably the same, and says the same exact stuff every time. I hope George W. doesn't mind her calling complete strangers Laughing
