Actually...this is pretty sad. The explanations, the spelling, the pictures...all of it. I am still trying to think of what that rare 1940 is, and how he came up with the 60% 'coper' 30% steel and 10% rare 'zink'. That together with a starting bid of only $10,000 doesn't make for a good introduction into the Ebay marketplace.

Seen ones like this before... either they don't know jack schitt or they're simply trying to get lucky by catching a fool and his money.

At least he didn’t claim that it contained a percentage of mercury. One seller on eBay a couple of weeks ago was selling a 1940 mercury dime claiming that it was made with real mercury due to the silver shortage during the war. That one stuck me more-than-funny because he didn’t give a second’s thought as to how a liquid would retain a coin shape, and that we were not at war in 1940.
