You are right in that it is not documented anywhere that I could find either. It looks intriguing though. I would love to be able to have a look at it, verify that it is indeed an RPM and put it on the site as a new discovery.

Bob I will be happy to send the coin for you to take a look at. The coin does have strick doubling to the east and the picture posted does show this.(I think) I think this is an RPM basted on the lower split serif . I got to looking at some of the older dated coins and have some that are not on the CC site and will be happy to have you take a look.

Sounds good Jack. I did see the strike doubling which is why I added that I would need to verify if indeed it is an RPM. Send me an email at bobp@coppercoins.com and I will send you back my address and anything else that I would need to attribute your coin(s).
