Going thru my 57RPM's I noticed this variety has what appears to be doubling on the 7 of the date. This does not look like any other listed dual die variety. Any opinions?

Looks interesting enough, but I am not convinced that it isn't a die scratch, tooling mark, ordie crack or something. I would have figured something that pronounced would show more than just the little bar...like maybe all the way down the leg of the number. It is possible, but in my humble opinion, based on what I see...it doesn't seem to be a doubled die. Maybe Chuck has a different opinion of it????

I would be disinclined to call something that minor a doubled die without something else on the coin showing the doubling. That's the initial impression I get from it. As for the RPM, it might be listable, but looks very minor from here.

Do I see a split serif on the NW corner of the "D"?

Thanks for the help guys. That is the only area of doubling I can see on the coin, and I agree it is minor. The coin does show some MD also which is what first caught my eye and made me look twice. The RPM is minor also, although I did pick out about 10 of these from the roll. Searching these older rolls is never dull
