Actually no, there isn't.
You should see all the back end code to this plug and play forum. I spent a week looking for the right place to plop in a link and was unsuccessful. I had planned on adding that to the list of crap to do once I get the time to actually rebuild the whole site.

Chuck, send me the source code and I'll see if I can figure something out.

I've spent the last four hours trying to muddle through the mess of code this forum is built on and I simply cannot understand it. I have no clue how everything is placed on the page, nor can I read enough of what's going on and get the structure so I can figure out which of nearly 300 files to look in to find the proper place to insert a link. I have tried it in a few places to no avail - it simply will not work.
I don't think anyone other than the authors of this spaghetti code crap could figure out exactly what they are trying to do with the thousands and thousands of lines of code these people wrote - and in the sloppiest format I've ever seen.
Smed - the only way I could send you the code to see if you could figure it out would be to send the entire package - a couple hundred different files. I don't think it's worth the effort - at all. All it did was frustrate me, and I teach computer programming. A lot of the crap they did in the code of this forum is so cryptic there's no way of pulling it all apart without spending hours upon hours going back and forth between files to figure out what some of their crap means. Depressing to see an application that works so well that has so many inherent flaws in its back end design. I'd slap a student for writing code so sloppily.

I don't mind the mess, sounds like a challenge -- but if you don't think it's worth it, no prob.

Okay, never mind. I finally figured it out.
While working on getting the forum ready, I created three separate template styles. While working on this I was using the wrong one, thus not doing anything that affected the live forum. I found where I should have put the link in early-on, but was doing it in the wrong template set. I duplicated my efforts in the other two template sets until I figured out which one would change the live forum. I finally figured out which one that was, and formatted it to work.
